Governor Tina Kotek announced the formation of a statewide Data Center Advisory Committee, tasked with developing policy recommendations to address the rapid expansion of data centers across Oregon. Oregon Business for Climate Director Tim Miller has been appointed to serve on the committee, bringing a business and climate perspective to discussions around energy affordability, infrastructure, and natural resource impacts.
The advisory committee will conduct a public process focused on balancing economic development with climate and clean-energy goals while protecting ratepayers and Oregon’s water resources.
