Oregon Business for Climate hosted a members-only tour of the PAE Living Building in downtown Portland.
As one of the first developer-led projects to meet the Living Building Challenge, the PAE Living Building is a remarkable example of regenerative design and high-performance commercial construction. Members had the opportunity to explore the building’s innovative systems, sustainable materials, and human-centered design while learning more about the vision and collaboration that brought the project to life.
A special thank you to Marc Brune, Tim Elley, and Ben Burnett for sharing insights into the development process and the building’s impact on clients, stakeholders, and the future of sustainable commercial design.
The event concluded with a member happy hour and thoughtful conversation around climate leadership, innovation, and the future of Oregon’s built environment.
Exclusive events like this are one of the many benefits of OB4C membership, creating opportunities for business leaders to connect, learn, and engage with Oregon’s climate and clean energy transition firsthand.
