A coalition of business, health, environmental, and community organizations (including Oregon Business for Climate) is speaking out against a newly filed lawsuit seeking to repeal Oregon’s Climate Protection Program (CPP). Oregon Business for Climate is among the groups supporting the program.
The lawsuit, backed by fossil fuel interests, challenges the state’s authority to implement the program. In response, a broad group of stakeholders are reaffirming support for the CPP as a flexible, market-based approach that reduces emissions while supporting economic growth and investment across Oregon.
